I’m Gabriel — a narrative-obsessed, sonder-fueled Game Writer.
(my serious face)
From the cold, dark, green and forested land of Sweden, where I’ve lived all my life. Where the life of spring, the light of summer, and the color of autumn all inspire me to create, and the cold of winter robs me of excuses not to (though it too knows of ways to inspire).
More than anything, I’m fascinated by endings, whatever that ending might be — the end of a friendship, an ordinary object, a project, a sentence, or the universe (as a Sci-Fi nerd at heart, that one’s generally my go-to). Which is all very lucky for me because a narrative’s core lies just there, at its end. Where all a story’s themes and intentions coalesce is its heart and soul, the thing I’m most excited to work on and, a thing once solidified, motives me more than anything as a writer to build up to, to pay off.
A story can have an incredible or mediocre beginning or middle, that’s all well and good. But it’s always gotta have that ‘wow’ ending. Otherwise, what's the point? No matter what, it can not simply fade. It must end.
I also occasionally do some hobby (and professional) writing over on the SCP Wiki — a directory of my works can be found here.
